Failure to purchase Microsoft Points.

I have tried several times to purchase Microsoft Points on this account and have tried with different debit/credit cards. Yet everytime I select confirm purchase, an error message comes up stating that authorization is invalid. Tech Support said it was a problem on my banks end, and my bank says there are no holds on my card and that the problem is with Microsoft. Any help with this issue is appreciated.
