Fable 3 - Not sensing Live Account

When we play Fable 3, it is not sensing the Xbox Live

When we go to the Sanctuary and try to download extra content we get the error message stating:  Not signed in to Xbox Live, don't have Gold, or that multi-player is blocked.

None of this is accurate.

We have ratcheted back all the content and family filters to allow everything.

Any ideas?

Have you visited https://billing.microsoft.com to verify that your Gold membership is currently active? If so, are you encountering similar issues in any other game, or just Fable III?
