Error with paypal account??

When i go to buy gold 1 month for $1 that is offered on the dashboard, it gives me an error saying "Sorry, there's an error with your account." then it tells me to go look at my live account settings or change my payment option. Now, ive done both. Theres nothing i can do with my account settings and ive removed the paypal and added it back again. I know my paypal works because i bought something off of eBay today. Any suggestions??

go to http://account.live.com and make sure it doesn't need you to verify the email or add password reset options. That's been cropping up quite a bit lately.

oops taht link should be http://account.live.com not vom. And on the screen, does it say anything about email needs to be verified? Its usually a nice visible yellow bar. Or go to the manage security information and check that you have reset information.

Sometimes it still has this issue even with good reset information and you'll need to contact support for an escalation.
