I have this problem and I can't purchase anything like microsoft points or xbox live gold, from my console, I need help.

  1. If you could sign into xbox.com, then go to "My Account" (There is a link at the top right of the screen, under your gamertag).
  2. Then Under "Paymet & Billing" select "Billing Contact Information".
  3. Then Change your email address to an email that is not the one ties to your xbox live account.
  4. Check all your other info is correct, then save.
  5. Try making a purchase again.

Have you tried making the purchase from the xbox.com website? Sometimes if it will not work on your console it may work on the computer. If that does not work have a look at the Microsoft Billing Website (link below) to see if you owe Microsoft any money

billing.microsoft.com/home.aspx

If that all looks fine then remove all your payment methods from your account, then add a card back on and try to make the purchase again.

If it still does not work then come back and post and we will do our best to sort you out.

Hello!

I actually have the same problem except i can purchase MS points using my computer but not on my console, this means that my paypal is all good (i checked billing microsoft website and the status is good), i need the 2 month gold offer and i can only find it on my console, which apparently can't make purchases on it.

I checked billing microsoft website and the status of mi credit card and the rest of the information is "good", and I tried buying from "xbox.com" and it works but I want to purchase the 2 months gold offer, and this offer you can't purchase from the computer.

If I understand correctly everything is properly configured on https://billing.microsoft.com according to this sticky forums.xbox.com/.../153161.aspx If that is the case I would recommend getting in touch with phone support for your region. They should be able to assist you further with this matter. Give it a shot and let us know know it goes! :)
