Error Code: X7053-1803 (Netflix App)

I've been having some trouble getting Netflix to work on my Xbox One. For a few days it worked fine generally speaking, but since yesterday the app no longer boots to Netflix, it merely says "Something went wrong, there seems to be a problem right now, try again later" and gives the error code listen above. I could not find this error code on the xbox.com website list, or on Netflix.com. Anyone else experiencing this, or have a fix?

I have had the same problem. Unfortunately I have not found a solution yet. In fact you are the only person who I have found that has mentioned it online. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

I've got the same problem going on. I haven't used Netflix really at all, but I do recall it loading up the one time that I did try it previously. This morning, however, it just gives me the above error.

Check to see if your NAT is strict.

I had this earlier, but also had a strict NAT, only way I could get it off strict was to DMZ my Xbox One IP address on my router, UPNP is enabled but bugger knows why it wasn't doing its job.
After DMZ'ing I done a full reboot of the Xbox One (tried the before doing the former, made no difference to the NAT) the NAT was Open again & I tried Netflix & it worked.
If this is indeed the case & netflix doesn't work under a strict NAT setting, then at least we can let MS know.

Other people on reddit reported this, and a clean boot fixed them up.

Turn on X1, Hold in power button for 10-15 seconds until it turns off (will beep/flash), wait 30 seconds, then turn back on and try again.

It's almost like netflix isn't really shutdown while its apparently trying to get an update (or it had previously crashed).

Worked for me too..! Its like when the app crashes or gets hung up. Only way to get it working again is to cold boot the Xbox up. Like a computer holding the button in till its shuts off and then turning on reboots fresh. Remember the Xbox one more like a computer with a OS now.
