Error Code 80153003

I'm trying to purchase the Shift 2 Unleashed Online Pass, and whenever I try it gives me this error code. Extremely frustrating. =/ I even changed my windows live ID associated with my account in an attempt to make it work after seeing some people were having similar problems and found that fixed it. The online pass is not available on xbox.com or the dashboard, only in-game on Shift. When I bring it up, it also says it is 0 MSP. (No, I have not purchased it before. I bought a used copy of Shift.)

I need this fixed soon as possible, I've been trying to play with my friends on Shift, go out of my way to buy MSP, and now I can't even purchase  the pass. Thank you in advance.

im having the same exact problem. ive been searching for like 2 hours on how to fix it but i just cant find anything. if you find out how to fix it please let me know. ill really appreciate it

Try clearing the console cache, restart, and try purchasing it again. Does this help?

having same problem try clearing consoles cache it don't work if any one know how to fix it let me know please

Same exact issue here.. Used game, trying to buy a code.. no luck after clearing cache and market place system data

Well, Marketplace data clearing was my next suggestion. Just to be sure, I want everyone to try it out. Remove the Marketplace Data, clear system cache, restart, and try again. Let me know if that works.

I think I've heard some people suggesting that this could mean you have an expired payment method on your account. I'm not sure on this, but if you could check this out and remove any expired methods, that might help out.

I set up the payment to buy Gold membership mere minutes before trying to give you more money for a code that I need to play Shift 2 with a friend online. Tried all other suggestions but no luck.

I did at one point have an expired payment method on my account, but since then I've removed it, added a new one, and payed my dues.  So at this point everything is updated, and I'm still not able to buy the online pass. =/
