Error Code 80150101

I downloaded some content for AC Brotherhood on a separate account and it finished. But then it started re-downloading again. And again. It won't stop. Whenever I try to cancel downloads, it says "Can't retrieve information from xbox live. Try again later. Status code 80150101" I've deleted system updates, system cache, marketplace cache, and nothing works. What should I do?

"Solution 1: Clear and download the console update again

There might be a problem with the console software update. To solve this problem, try clearing a portion of the update, and then download the update again. Here’s how:

On your console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.

Select Memory.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

When prompted, select Yes.

After the console restarts, sign in using an Xbox LIVE gamertag, and download the update again."

I found out what was wrong with mine.

If you bought microsoft points through your xbox like I did, meaning if you have a credit card attached to your account, remove it from your account and try downloading again. It might work because it worked for me.

To remove a credit card from your account

Go to My Account on the top navigation bar of xbox.com > Accounts >  Manage Payment Options > Remove
