Downloaded Games

I recently downloaded GTA San Andreas, and whenever I play it for more than 5 minutes, and/or get to a certain area of the game, it freezes and says that "the disc is dirty or damaged" when I don't have a disc because I downloaded the game from the marketplace.

When you say you tried everything does that include deleting the latest system update and updating your console manually using a USB flash drive as described in the thread.

Hey there Toe! I just wanted to confirm that you did have an official MS Hard Drive on/in your console, correct? Are you having trouble with any other downloaded content? Do you have trouble if you try playing Original games from a disc?

One possible solution is to delete the game content, clear the system cache, and then download 9+ gigs of additional content. This can be free or previously purchased content, we're just looking to fill up the space. Once that's done, try downloading the game again from your Download History and give it a go. Let me know if that works, thanks!
