Does anyone else miss the old days?

Where if a game was to hard, was to niche, etc, there were no patches for it. Back in those days you took what the developer released and you were grateful for it, because even playing a game that sucked or was outrageously hard it was fun. You didn't go "ROCKET BLOW ME UP! PATCH IT DICE PATCH IT!" when you made the mistake of flying over a squad of people with an RPG.

Aww, the days.

I just miss bad company 2 and it's damn near 100% balance.

I miss Battlefield 2 and it's damn near 100% awesomeness.

But Bad Company 2, was one hell of a balanced game.

Its almost like people think there were never patches for BC 2 to eliminate stuff ?

Games were really dumbed down.

Take CoD, for example.

Death Streaks. REALLY!?

This video kind of explains what I'm trying to say.

That game wasn't close to 100% balance...

...and no, I don't miss gaming back in the day. Games now are much more interesting and allow for so much more gameplay.

The only thing I ever had a problem with was choppers, and even that wasn't to bad if you could just find an ammo box. All of the guns felt like they had thier own place and were good in their own right.

BC2 was fun as hell. The helicopters were a pain at times especially in Atacama Desert Conquest.

Cool Story bros!
