Do the summer months affect your gaming habits?

I would have to say from the months of Nov to late April, I probably game 60+ hours a week. Now that it is nice outside, I have very little interest. I am lucky if I play four hours a week now and even that time is spent offline playing something like Final Fantasy because I am not playing enough to stay competitive. While I should be thinking about my K/D ratio and the July and August game line up, I instead find myself either at the beach or in my back yard practicing flippin and pitchin techniques with my new 200.00 Quantum baitcaster getting ready for my next fishing trip. Late night clan matches has now turned to late night drinks in the pool. Do any other people here game much less in the summer than in the late fall, winter and early spring?

I am usually outside being active playing sports and working long hours so that affects my personal gaming time.

Previously known as Win7Xbox 360

At my age, I pretty much stay inside all year long.  In Texas it's too cold in the winter and too "dang" hot in the summer.

summer is the devil in texas.

No but my new job has completely killed my gaming hours. Havent been on in a really long time

Ha Ha. Cold in Texas.

Not at all.

Cold in Texas LMFAO.... It's colder here then in Texas

Meh.

I get bored of gaming super fast as of lately, so this summer, yeah. I'm going to try and spend as much time out of the house as possible. My job's outside too for the most part which is awesome.

....What's Summer?

[/quote]Yes cold!!!  Where most states winter precipitation is snow, we have ice.  And water freezes at...32*.   <-- ice falling!  But it's usually in the 20s when it does.  Granted winter here only lasts 3 months but driving on a ice rink isn't fun.
