DLC payment issues - COD BOPS II - Apocalypse

Hi, Trying to download the Apocalypse DLC for COD Black Ops II and through the X-Box I get an error - We are unable to authorise your payment at  this time. and Through X-Box Live on both a PC and tablet I get an error - Sorry we are unable to process your payment at this time.

 

I have tried two credit cards. One new and used successfully on Amazon. and a Paypal account. None work.

I downloaded content on 28/08/2013 and have tried yesterday and today (29/30) without success.

The first thing I would have you check is http://billing.microsoft.com

 

Make sure your subscription is up to date if you have one and its not being declined. If your subscription renewed but the card declined it this problem will arise

 

If you do see a declined subscription then you will want to contact official support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Normally I would have you do some troubleshooting on the console but since  you have tried the console, a PC, and a tablet, and none of them are working I don't think any troubleshooting would work.

 

Is this problem occurring only for this one item or for anything you want to buy?

 

Something to try is to buy a MSP card and put the points on account, they will be transferred over to currency then you can make the purchase with that instead

 

If that also says it could not be authorized then that means there is a "Risk Block" on your account, the only way to have it removed is to contact official support

I have downloaded other content with the same credit cards (even for the same game) and have confirmed this with a small download pack today. I have also done the same with paypal. Therefore payment methods and details are all fine and the process works. But trying to download the apocalypse pack either through the console or Xbox live fails..

Hey there Scorp!

It definitely seems odd that your payment options aren't working for you then. At this point it seems like the best option would be to use the Contact Us link that iVassh linked and set up a support call/chat with a billing specialist. They'll be able to look through your account and see if there are any holds or anything like that which might prevent you from getting content.
