Disc Damaged, alternatives to make it work?

Well me and my friend really play a lot of Black Ops so his disc got damaged but can still be played though most of the time it display the disc damaged window thing...

So we tried to clean it and nothing... I figured that he could install it in his console with my disc, then insert his disc... my question is, will that work? He payed for his original (not pirated) copy and he deserves to have the chance to still play without those annoying windows popping up everytime.

That should work. As long as his disc works long enough for the console to verify it's in the tray it should work.

No problem. Also, if the disc has scratches and stuff, your friend could also try checking local game/video stores to see if they do disc resurfacing. Usually it's only a couple of bucks and will fix the disc.
