Disable on-screen keyboard for Xbox One

I am just curious, is there any way to disable the on-screen keyboard that the Xbox One uses natively? I use a USB keyboard on my xbox and when I browse the web or type a message in ESO its aggravating that the on-screen keyboard keeps popping up when its not needed. Does anyone have any information about this? I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer.

At this time I don't think so, though it's a good idea to add the option for keyboard users! Pretty sure it opens if you use SmartGlass as well. lol

wow well please update me when you update that setting, i mean its such a simple change, why cant disable the "onscreen keyboard app" ? i mean all you guys at microsoft have to do is make it so we can have access to the on/off function of the old fasioned ''onscreen'' style keyboard app.

Yes you can disable the on screen keyboard. Get the Windows 10 App, you can turn it off from there. It's under "settings" and under the headline "Typing on my Xbox One."
