Credit card information.

   Ten minutes ago I was trying to register my first credit card here at xbox live. I've typed all the info in two times in a row, and two times the info was not accepted, but I got the message from the bank $1 was taken from he card. Two times, yes. For what?! - is the 1st question. 2nd - what the hell was it anyway? The money shouldn't be taken just for registering the card.

   I have the messages and the screenshot with the payment method error. I really hope someone with suitable knowledge can answer my questions since the thing is pretty serious.

The $1 is used when they try to authorize your card for use. It should be refunded in 24-48 hours.

If you still need to add the card, but are still having trouble, you will need to call support to speak to the billing department directly. They can help you get that part figured out. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada.
