Couldn't sync data with cloud.

Been trying to play Forza 6.

Upon startup, it says syncing data. Gets to about 16% then pops:

We couldn't sync your data with the cloud just now


Try syncing again or use this game or app offline. ()

I've tried again numerous times. 

I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Forza 6. 

Any issues with the cloud? With FM6?

I have taken this conversation up with XBOX and Forza support via Twitter.

I will continue to update this thread so it can be searchable in the future if somone else searches for this issue.

My first step is to re-install everything pertaining to Forza Motorsport 6.

This will take a while, and I have a 9-5 job, so updates will follow this evening.

The problem seemed to have been related to ATT Uverse internet.

Even though I have a solid 75/7 connection, and everything else works fine, as soon as I tethered my X1 to my T-Mobile iphone connection, and tried, it worked on the first attempt.

Just for a test, I reset the xbox, and tried again. Uverse fails, Cellular tethered connection works perfect.

I have opened a ticket with ATT, but they are pointing the finger at MS.

I guess, in the end, Try another connection, even if you are 100% sure your home connection is solid!
