Closed caption/subtitles on by default ever since latest update

Ever since the last update, the subtitles/closed captions come on by default every time I start watching something after launching the netflix app. Once I turn it off, it stays off. Any ideas?

I have this same problem too, and I haven't found a solution yet

I think I found a solution:

settings tab--->system--->console settings--->display---->closed captioning--->click off.

So far this fixed it for me, time will tell for sure.

That worked for me. Thanks  Victors.

This worked for me as well, found this post as a random Google search, thanks for posting...

This is driving me nuts as well. Will try the solution above.

Thanks so MUCHO it was driving us crazy!

thank you i was having the same problem.  it was driving me insane.

I did the same as above (display-cc-off-save) But when I turn off the netflix it resets and turns back on. Anyone find that they have to make the setting change everytime they turn on netflix?

Try using the above directions thevictors51 provided on your Xbox settings. This should fix your problem. Before I changed the console settings I was having to turn off the CC on my Netflix everytime also.

I am having this same problem with MLB.TV, I change the settings and restart the app but the Captioning is still on. I cannot get it to turn off. This seems to be the only app I have problems with this.
