Cant use the money in the microsoft account alot of people got this problem

so there is a lot of people have this problem they cant use the money in there Microsoft account, and the support team doesn't know what to do, there is no announcement about it, so I hope every one got this problem reply to this post so they do something about it.

I have this problem. Im going to miss out on sales because of this. MS has to already know about this issue by now so it would be nice if a rep could let us all know what their current situation is.

It's quite easy to fix

Goto your console and click purchase

The website doesn't support currency purchases yet

Here is my experience.

I have the same problem of not able to use the microsoft credit to purchase a game that cost less than my total available microsoft credit using the xbox console.   However, when I bought another game that cost more than the microsoft credit I have using my paypal account, the console then prompt me whether I would like to offset the purchase with my microsoft credit.  I answer yes and I finally managed to use up all the microsoft credit.

I too am having the same problem.  I contacted support.  They weren't able to help me resolve the problem.  I did however get 1 extra month of Live.  That is something right?  No, not exactly.  

I was told I will be emailed with further help.  I wanted to get Borderlands 2 on sale yesterday, but I couldn't because of the problem.  I put money into the account specifically to buy the game.  As far as I can tell MS is holding my money hostage.  And, they won't be able to honor the sale price whenever my situation is handled.   Now, I'm waiting on an email.  Also, I will go out today to GameStop and pick up a copy of the game.

i keep trying buying, however it worked once and I bought the item, but trying again still same problem so I guess its a bug.

Same here, I bought a $50 card, activated and was able to make a in-game purchase in GTA 5. Tried to make another and I was told it couldn't authorize and for me to contact my Financial advisor. This is MS $$, they are my financial adviser. So I contact support and I am told I will be contacted in 48 hours. That was 3 days ago and now I have a new reference number and another 48 hours to wait. One agent told me that since I changed my billing address that locks out the account for 30 days. I then found out it was a LIE because another rep said that is not true. Something really screwy is going on. Now I can't even add my other payment options and my bank says there is no problem on their end. This is a joke...I want my money back and for me to be able to directly buy content form RockStar....and maybe MS can educate their support staff....

Thank goodness, thought this was just me. Good to know that MAYBE it will get fixed since it's not a specific problem with my account.
