cant play xbox origingal games

try to play gran theft auto san andreas and when its loading it says the disc I'm using is damaged even though i have downloaded it of the game marketplace and haven't got a disc for it

Hey mate, do you have an official HDD in your console? One is required for backwards compatible games.

This is tricky, so let me expand on Mister Fizter's question a little. Do you have an Xbox 360 Slim 4G.

 

Xbox Original titles, whether on disc or downloaded from the marketplace require a hard drive in order to run. Now these are the devices you can remove from the console.

 

Now in the Slim 4G there is no hard drive rather there is built in flash memory, essentially a built in USB stick.

 

So if you do have the Slim 4G, your only solution will be to buy an official Microsoft hard drive.
