Can't play Halo: Combat evolded download on xbox 360 4GB console

Can't play Halo: Combat evolded download on my xbox 360 4GB console. Just downloaded the xbox original game for 1200 points onto my new "slim" console, when I tried to play the game the system showed a message on-screen stating that I needed a xbox 360 HDD to play this game. I looked at the description of this game on xbox live and on the internet, and nowhere it specifies that you need the HDD device to play this game. Please, help. I just want to play my game!

All original Xbox games require a hard drive for use on the Xbox 360. The 4 GB drive in the console is actually a flash drive, and as such, it does not support backwards compatibility. You will need to purchase the 250 gb HDD to play the game.
