Cant play DLC games offline now!?!

Hello,

Your not able to play them offline because you've more than likely switched the console that your currently playing on. In order to play games offline that you purchased on your own account they need to have the licenses on the same Xbox 360. In order to do that you need to start a license transfer.

Once you've done the license transfer you'll be able to play the games on your new Xbox 360 (or the Xbox 360 your using now) offline and the one you previously were playing on will only be able to access these games online while on your tag. License transfers can only be done once every 4 months so be wary of that before doing one if you switch between consoles often. 

I formatted my hard drive on accident and just redownloaded it but it doesnt seem to work either...

I reformatted my hard drive on accident does it mean I have to waste my xbox live membership for the next 3 months not playing online as well? I mean I usually play offline as well and I redownloaded my profile so how do i license transfer or do i have to waste live?

If you reformatted your hard drive and lost access to content that means you had to have purchased it on a previous console. So either, you license transferred for a friend or someone license transferred from your account (your friend or that other person now has access to this content offline while you can only access content online), or you were playing on a previous console and in that case you'd need to license transfer. Those are the only reasons why the licenses would have reset.

Ok heres the thing. You suspose to read what you can do on Dlc online and offline. Some Dlc require online conncetion to play it. In the future please check to see if you need to be online to play the content other than that. try downloading the Dlc to the Console itself.
