Can't launch Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Hi,

I recently purchased GTA:SA from xboxlive. My internet speed is really poor, so after purchasing it on my account I took my hardrive to a friends and downloaded it using his xbox. When i now try to play the game, on my console, it comes up with the error message "Can't launch Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas". It is only when i connect to xbox live that I am able to play. I thought that i may need to transfer the licence onto my xbox, however, it states "Your licences are already associated with this console". 

Any help is much appreciated

That is unusual that you receive that message.
Because if you downloaded it using another console you will need to transfer the licences to be able to play the game offline.
