I just got a new Xbox and for two days I've tried to purchase a gold account and I keep getting this error message!
I read the other forum posts about deleting the memory/marketplace cache... I did all of that and it still isn't working!
When I "confirm my purchase" an error box pops up that says.....
"Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status code: 8090821"
Other info: I live in San Francisco, CA ....and have never had this happen with my old Xbox in the past. My credit card is a bank card and has been used to purchase things like DLC many times, so it's the card I'm using. I even added my pay pal account and tried to pay with that, and I got the same error code.
ALSO .... I cannot purchase the gold membership via this website either!
