Dirty, what country are you located in? And what country is your XBOX Live account located in? You can check the country of your XBOX Live account by clicking this link here. Issues like this usually occur when there is some sort of region miss-match.

dirtyEstrbuny, clearing the cache then deleting the game redownloading didn't work also checking your live account didn't work. What you should do is call 1-800-4MY-XBOX (1-800-469-9269) for help

If people just did a search you would find 3 people have the same issue, http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/27/p/7965/55402.aspx#55402 or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977374 Games on Demand game will not download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace

Hey DirtyEstrbuny, you may first want to try connecting directly to your router/modem to see if it is a connection issue. Also, have you tried downloading any other DLC since this issue, are you able to successfully download all other content? Let us know! :)

DirtyEstrbuny, I recently had a similar issue and I learned to resolve it by the following steps:

1. Go to your dashboard -> System settings -> Storage Devices -> Choose a Hard-drive or Memory Unit (Depending on which you have the game downloading on), DELETE the game file (in your case it would be Dead Rising 2).

2. Go back to Storage Devices and press (y) on the HDD/Memory Unit you have chosen to download the game on.

select CLEAR GAME CACHE. (Do this 2 times).

3. Once you have cleared the game cache (2 times), Go back to storage devices -> select your HDD/Memory unit, Scroll down to and select "System Items",  delete the 2 files marketplace updates and Rights files.

4. Once done that, Go back to your HDD/Memory unit, and select "Gamer Profiles", Select your gamer profile and press delete (CHOOSE TO JUST DELETE THE GAMERTAG NOT CONTENTS!!)

5. Once done the above steps, Go back to your dashboard, Scroll right to the "Social" panel, and select "Sign in or Out". Then scroll all the way to the right until you come across "Download Profile"

Enter in your e-mail address associated with your XBL account and then your password.

6. Once gamer profile has been recovered, Head back to the marketplace -> search for your game, and download again and your done ! it should work.

If it continues to not download properly, it is either a regional issue, or a connection issue.

Hopefully these tips help you out, They really helped me out when nothing else worked.

( You do not lose ANYTHING when deleting a profile and selecting ONLY DELETE PROFILE)

Best of luck, Let me know how this turns out for you.
