cant authorise the selected payment option??

i want to buy 2000 Microsoft Points and it wont let me i have previously bought some points. what do i need to do to solve this problem??

Have you checked all the info, payment acct + other is current, at http://commerce.microsoft.com ?

 

If so, suggest you contact a Billing Agent. You can choose Option 1 after finding your country's support line: See http://tinyurl.com/XBLnumbers ...

 

but a faster way to speak to a Billing Agent is to go to http://xbox.com - sign in there if you can - then go to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5

 

Click on Request A Call and type in a few lines explaining your issue and you will get called back quicker than if you waited in queue on hold.

I have the same problem.  Tech support is no help and by googling this issue, there seems to be thousands of other people with the same problem and microshaft doesn't seem to care.

Hey there WoolenCosine465! There are a couple steps that you'll need to take here. First off, have you logged into accounts.live.com to ensure that your billing information is accurate and up to date? As well as checked for any notices or messages?
 

If all seems normal, I'd suggest trying one of two things. If you just recently made a purchase, it may just be preventing you from making multiple purchases quickly so try waiting 24 hours and attempt to purchase again. Or, try using an alternate payment method!
