Can't see prices for downloaded games!

Has it never crossed anyone's (Microsoft dashboard programmer's) mind that someone might get rid of a game (physical copy) and then want to buy the game later from the marketplace?

You have to delete the game in question game if you want to see the marketplace price.  Which would leave me to believe the answer to my question is "no."  It's quite presumptuous to think one ALWAYS has the disk for games they've downloaded previously.

Are there any moderators around here with any juice.  If so, please tell someone that no one in the history of Xbox 360 has needed launch a game from the marketplace, but instead would like to view the price of the game without deleting it first.

None of the mods here work for Xbox besides the official Support Agents. Its bot a big deal to delete the game from your hard drive if you don't have the disc anymore and want to go digital. Also you could check the price from Xbox.com

If you don't have the physical disc, you have no need for the installation file anyway.

If you were to download from the Marketplace, it would need to make a separate installation as the two files are not the same. You wouldn't just be able to use the installation file you created from disc to play a digital version.
