Can't Play Video

I downloaded two rental movies via Xbox video to watch on the plane but oh to my disappointment when on the plane  I get the error  "Can't Play"  It says to check and see if I have the latest drivers for audio and video.

I'm running an Asus Zenbook UX31A (It's less than 2 months old and I have the latest drivers)

In fact, I've already rented and watched a video on this machine - Why doesn't it work now?

Fairly irritated considering I'm out $8 and no movie on the plane.

what is the resolution?

Hi Erik. Sorry to hear about your boring plane ride.

Here is the thing about renting movies. Once you rent and download it, you have 14 days to watch it. Once you hit "Play", you then have 24 hours to watch it as many times as you want/can.

Since you said you had already watched the movies before your plane ride, it sounds like your rental just ran out, by way of the 24 hour timer.

Here is some more info on Buying or renting videos through Zune/Xbox Video.

Hi Erik,

I've have the same problem with my laptop.  I found out that the Nvidia video card drivers I was using weren't WHQL signed.  After I downloaded the latest WHQL signed driver the error went away and I was able to play videos again.
