can't play songs- code 01-800705b4

I recently bought songs on iTunes and I am unable to play them. I have downloaded the optional media update but it still won't work.

Hi harrison10001,

Is it only songs purchased on iTunes that aren't playing? Are they songs you're trying to play on your Windows 8 PC through Xbox Music? Or is it on a device (mobile device, tablet, Xbox 360) that is synced to your PC that the songs will not play with.

my music is on my ipod and no it is not synced to my pc i just doesnt let me play any of my music

Once certain i devices are capable of playing their files on the Xbox console.  This has to do with the way Apple has setup the file storage.  Depending on which iPod you have, there's some apps available on iTunes that will allow you to listen to your music on an Xbox.

Hi all,
 

Unfortunately iOS devices with a touch screen will not be able to connect to an Xbox 360 and function properly. Only the iPod classic with physical buttons will be able to play back audio on with the steps listed here if interested. Hope this clears things up!
