Can't play minecraft

i got a new Xbox and liscence transferred my minecraft yet It won't work. However I played and unlock a couple oh achievements then stopped working and asked to buy the full version. What do I do? Thank you :)

Hmmm, have you tried to delete Minecraft and re-download it from your Download History?

Deleting the game and re-downloading it again should work, however I've had a question on Ambassador chat today with the same issue.  The re-download suggestion didn't work for them.  I think we may need some official clarification on how to fix this issue as it doesn't seem like an isolated problem.

The only thing I would suggest is deleting the game. all saves and everything, trying to re-install it and see how that works, if that doesn't help then I don't know what might sorry!

The developers are aware of the issues in Minecraft. Such as portal not working. Game not auto saving and random kicks. They have said they are working on it. but they have yet to give us a date of the patch.

So what should I do because I have tried the above yet it says I have only got trial even though I have paid for the full version

I would contact the game makers about this because every game has a website with contact information as for minecraft I will now provide you with an official website they have http://help.mojang.com/

You can submit your question there and they will look at your question and give you an answer as soon as possible.

Hopefully the creators will implement some patches along with the next update of minecraft. Sure updating the game is good but fixing the game should be priority.

That sounds like the trial version of the game. Try deleting it and redownloading it, that may work. IF it doesn't, then contact the developers.

I have a similar problem. I can only play my game if I redownload it from the marketplace everytime I want to play. Whenever I navigate to the game on my xbox it only says "play trial."

I have deleted and reinstalled. When I re-download it I have lost all of my progress. On top of that I had to borrow the wifi connector in the first place so I am not able to connect to live all of the time to keep downloading.

Now I've spent $20 on a game I can't even play reliably, or really at all.
