Cable Remote & Voice Command will stop working

I have Comcast XFinity and have been able to use its remote as well as voice controls through xbox one to control and change the channels.  There have been a couple times so far that I have been unable to use the remote or voice commands to change the channel.  Essentially its stuck on one channel and nothing works to change it.

Juicy,

Sounds like the IR blaster isn't accepting any commands. Can do a power cycle to see if this resolves this issue? Just hold the Xbox Console power button for 8 seconds until it turns off, then wait 30 seconds, then turn your console back on and it should be good to go. The power cycle will clear the cache and reset the network card. One of the Xbox Staff members has indicated it is a HDCP issue in relation to a passive authentication signal being sent through HDMI to verify the output signal being sent from the STB (Set top box aka Cable Box). He said they are working on this with their partners (cable providers) to help with a speedy resolution. What helps with a resolution is make/model, TV provider, and your system layout as far as cable types and system (Cable Box>HDMI>Xbox>HDMI>TV)? So if you can please provide that it would save them the time of asking later. Thanks,
