Buying hard drive from another console??

If I was to put an official Xbox 360s hard drive from another game specific console, such as a gears of war console, into my none game specific 360s console, would there be any implications? Thanks.

As long as they're both the same type of console (Slim to Slim), it doesn't matter. You would only have issues if you were putting a hard drive from an older 360 model into a Slim.

No, it's a slim internal hard drive, not an external one. The consoles are both slim, it's just simply the console that the hard drive has come out of is a gears of war console. Just wondered if there would be any implications if putting it in my normal normal Xbox?

If you are asking about using an external hdd from one of the older fat consoles inside a newer slim console then you can not do that as it is against the XBL Terms of Service. You will need to buy an internal official MS hdd.
