Bought Gold Membership, But Saying I Do Not Have It..?

I bought the 1 month xbox live GOLD membership online, through my console/paypal... yet if i try and party with my friend, it says i need gold membership for it...? it says i already am using gold on the site itself though ._.! is there a delay? or is something just up to where i have to call customer support? ;-;

paypal payments usually take the longest to clear as they have to be authorised through the bank and through paypal, keep checking it and it will work eventually

I don't know though like he said it is saying on the site itself that he is already using gold. I would definately call customer support just to ease your mind. Besides he only ordered 1 month if it is already showing on the account that means it is active and he is paying for something that he is not even able to use and with a 1 month membership he is losing valuable days. Please call customer support

When you purchase membership time from the website there is usually a delay. Two things will help speed up the process; recover account or test connection. If you purchase it from the Dashboard, depending on the payment instrument, as suggested above by another poster, it could be an issue on the card issuers end.
