Bought £10 for my account, doesn't work

I recently bought a download code for £10 to add to my account from a UK shop. Problem is, I live in Sweden and so the £10 I bought should give me roughly 100 SEK, which is what I paid for the code. It doesn't!

It seems xbox live does not transform the value of the code into what it is worth in SEK. Instead, it seems to just turn the £ sign into a SEK sign, so it says it adds 10 SEK to my account, Not 100 SEK like the code is worth. Is this a normal problem? Is there any way to fix it? Please help

I'm surprised it even added 10SEK to your account. These things are usually region-locked, so it wouldn't normally work.

In future, bear in mind that it is inadvisable to buy Gift Cards from another region. It causes weird problems like this, because they are not designed to be cross-regional.

For now, contact Phone Support and see if they can look into this for you: support.xbox.com/contact-us
