Black Ops 2 League play connection boot

When I'm queueing up for a league play match on black ops 2, unless I hop into a game immediately, I get disconnected from my xbox live party and half the time from xbox live itself and kicked out of the queue for a few minutes.  This issue has gone on all night. It's really frustrating.  I had an xbox systems error 80151901.  I found it's resolution on the forums and fixed it and am no longer getting the error but I'm still getting the same problems happening.  I have a 2gb xbox slim and a standard black ops 2 disc. It's really really really really really really frustrating and I'd love to find an answer for this. Thank you.

Sorry to hear you're having issues playing Black Ops 2,

Fizzle, that "Fixed" my problem but now I'm running 1 bar, 2 bar if I'm lucky. Before I had solid connection and my only problem was getting booted off xbox live because of a glitch, now I can't even play the game with the lagg.

Sorry to hear you're having lag issues.

  • Does this happen with all of your games or just Black Ops 2?
  • Have you double checked the steps in our Improve Xbox Live Speed troubleshooter?

It's only in black ops 2 and specifically only in league play.  And yes, I have checked that.

Hey Wabbzor,

If it's only in league play for Black Ops that you're having those latency issues, I would recommend making a post in the Black Ops 2 Technical Support forums.

There also looks to be an article on Activision's Black Ops 2 support site for How to get rid of lag in a multiplayer game

I'm sorry if you didn't find the information here helpful.

If it is specifically that game mode in that game where you are having these low connection speeds, it sounds like there is an issue with your connecting to those servers.

That is something that is beyond our control which is why I pointed you towards the specific support areas for Black Ops 2 so that you can hopefully get further support on sorting things out so you can enjoy league play.

did it got fix for two people play on the same xbox system not use split screen for league play?
