Bioshock GamesOnDemand: Disc Unreadable error

I received an unreadable disc error while playing the downloaded version of Bioshock.  The game crashed prior to reaching Point Prometheus (near the end of the game), and thus losing my latest save as well.  I have cleared my system cache and am re-downloading the game.  Is this a common issue? I would like to know before I risk attempting to get back to that point only to have it crash again, and having wasted my time on an unplayable version of this 5 1/2 year old game.

Hello ThaBrosef,

Welcome to the Xbox Support Forums.

I suggest you try all steps that are been discribed in the Troubleshooting Thread that Mister Gwyther created.

If that was not usefull for you, I do recommend you use another storage device.

You can configure an USB Flash Drive on the following way:

http://support.xbox.com/xbox-360/accessories/usb-flash-drive

Then remove the installed-Add-On game from your Hard Drive and download it and save it to your USB Flash Drive.

Let us know if this was usefull (or not :)).
