Best way to play Insanity mode?

any Ideas? I TRIED this on ME2 for about a 40% complete, wasn't too hard once you got into it, I was using a biotic character. maybe a good time to re-play a previous ME3 character with a few tweaks an changes as both of my first play thoughts I went all out soldier, Im re-downloading ME1 right now for a all out shot on a perfect game right from 1-2, everyone surviving!  MY first ever play through on ME2 I brought everyone back BUT I lost it by accidentally deleting it, didn't realize tell later how hard that was to bring everyone back alive on ME2, blind luck..

Sentinel is probably the most well rounded character. You get Warp for barriers and armour and overload for taking down shields. I always made sure i had Liara or Javik with me so I can take advantage of Biotic explosions and had garrus with chain overload for shields. I did this on ME3 on HC easily now I'm starting a NG+ with that character on insanity and so-far it's still pretty easy.

Hats off to all you insanity players. Honestly, I wouldn't even attempt it, it would just be too frustrating.

not soo bad on this game, jus kidding BUT with a Imported ME3 character an LOTS of medi gel lol and a very stream lined bare minimal strike force all I need to do is make it back to the final objective.. Im just not looking forward to any GETH!  lol I was having troubles staying alive on NORMAL mode ( on my first two play throughs ).. got to give it a try though oh an this one is going to be soldier..

The only parts that are hard on insanity for me are the boss battles but even then you just have to use more strategy and more cover.  Just save a lot and you'll be fine.

Haven't tried insanity on ME3, but did it on the first two games.  ME1 was a cake-walk on Insanity... ME2 was a bit trickier.  I always play as a Soldier and your best friend will be Adrenaline Rush.

If you import a save into NG+ in ME3 is it like ME2 where your stuck with whatever class you were in the original playthrough? I want to be sentinel for my insanity run but was a vanguard in my original playthrough.

Adept - with maxed out Throw (with 2 Meter detonation, increased damage and double target hit), Warp (fully increased damage), Singularity and at least one point in Pull, Garrus's Overload and Liara's Stasis. If you're fighting Geth, then Garrus (Overload) and Tali (sabotage). With two missions left, I've found Insanity in ME 3 to be a lot easier than Insanity in ME 2. Either that, or I'm a master biotic. lol

Very cool Doc, tagged for reference!

You're going to hate the Gaurd Missile part at the end. This is the Rage Train's boarding area.

IMO Infiltrator is the way to go. Cloak with Black Widow using the Energy Drain Bonus power. Nothing could stand in your way. My main group was EDI and "random people"

.

Had zero trouble through out the game.

.

Overall this game was not as difficult as ME1 or ME 2
