Been trying to buy Xbox Live for a month now.

I've been trying for over a month on both my pc and my xbox, but every time I get this error message:

I've contacted customer support and have been told to try again and to update my card and payment information - of which I have done multiple times.

I am in a situation where I don't have another card to try.

Anyone else have this problem?

Ok, I just fixed mine what I did was log into Live on my Xbox updated it, restarted it, removed my payment details, re entered the details chose which sub I wanted and it worked :D

To update your console: Go to My Xbox > System Settings > Network Settings > (choose network type) > Test Xbox Live Connection then accept the update download and restart then try your payment again :)

Genera1: what is the full error message/code you get on the console? Make sure to check our Payment Method (forums.xbox.com/.../17145.aspx) and Purchasing (forums.xbox.com/.../32.aspx) Guides.
