Battlefield 3 DLC (Armored Kill, Aftermath)

I was recently given a set of codes that would allow me access to BF3's Close Quarters, Armored Kill, and Aftermath DLC packs. I input the codes via the Xbox site and they all verified as being for the DLC. When my Xbox finished downloading all the packs, only Close Quarters showed as being unlocked.

However, when I looked at my purchase/download history it shows the Armored Kill and Aftermath DLCs, it just won't unlock them in game. I tweeted Xbox Support on Twitter, but since they had to get offline due to closing time, I thought I'd try here (maybe some night owls like myself are available to help).

The steps we (Xbox Support Twitter and I) did:

  • Clear system cache, restart Xbox.
  • Delete Armored Kill, Aftermath, clear system cache, restart, re-download

After neither of those things worked (and Xbox Twitter went offline) I, on my own, also did the following:

  • Deleted all BF3 title updates and re-downloaded them. Deleted my BF3 profile and re-downloaded it.

The really odd thing is that while they show up in my download/purchase history they are notshowing up as purchased on Marketplace or in the in-game store, but Close Quarters is.

Any help here would be great.

Forgot to add that Xbox Support also suggested I re-download my XBL profile.

Did they suggest clearing the cache before any redownloading began?

Yeah, clearing system cache has been the intermediate step before any re-downloading.

Update: Xbox Twitter has had me clear cache, restart Xbox, re-download ALL title updates via marketplace, then re-download DLC. We'll see if this works.

The only other step i would have would be to rollback the system updates, let me know if wht you're trying right now works. If not, we'll jump to resetting all updates.

HIghlight Harddirve (or memory Unit) and enter the code LB RB X, LB RB X.

This will erase all prior updates to the xbox. You'll have to download all of them again, including game updates.

Ok, so new update: Deleting title updates/DLC, clearing system cache, re-downloading it all still didn't solve the issue.

For your suggestion, would I need to delete everything as well?

alright.

Storage, look for corrupted data, delete it (I would delete anything i could redownload for B3)

Then delete your profile (profile only)

Then clear system cache.

Then Delete all updates.

Then console will restart and prompt for updates, go through with them.

After the system updates fully, download profile again.

After profile is done, first download content giving you issues.

((ALSO, if the content is showing up on the console's storage as being fine and definitely in the purchase/download history, and it isn't unlocked IN-GAME, you may have to refer to EA support.))
