BattleBlock Theater Glitch/Problem

Specific issue you are having: Game refuses to play.

Any error code or message you are receiving: The game doesn't appear to be working. Try downloading the game again.

I've attempted to redownload the game, clear the cache, and so on. I've tried and tried to get this to work, and I really want to play this. Can I have some suggestions, please?

Hey there Laser! I would try these steps (in this specific order):
-Delete the game from your storage device (go to the system hub of your dashboard, settings, storage, find BattleBlock Theater and delete it).
-Clear your system cache (this guide: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache).
-Restart your console.
-Go into your download history and redownload Battleblock Theater (this guide: support.xbox.com/.../download-content-history).

After trying those steps in that order let us know how it works for you and we'll go from there!

I did that you see, and I don't get an error message, but when I start it, the screen stays black and makes my Xbox freeze after a few seconds. What does that mean?

Hmm, that's no good.  OK, so you're downloading it to your hard drive, right?  Can you please try removing the hard drive from the system and then downloading it directly to a USB drive?
