Alice and the RE movie franchise has very little to do with the main cannon. Every one new from the start that Alice there just for the movies. Not to mention her role is almost as ridiculous as Wesker's superhuman abilities.
I'm really serious when I say this game was inspired more by the RE movies than games. Or both. One level had serious RE movie action kind of music. also, every so often your team is mobbed by super-fast and vicious zombies which only existed in the
movie where they got attacked by a similar horde in Vegas. This horde was released from a bigrig cargo hold. the fast ones do the same in the game. And BOW's and being dropped from the sky, and weapons crates. Those aren't ringing a bell from RE games.
At least not 1 or 2. Maybe Nemesis? I forgot most of that game.
Either way, if Alice were introduced a game of this play style, with the super-action oriented brutal kills and quickdraw technique, would be a better place for her. Also things that seem more reminiscent of the RE movies than games.
They were then added to the (many) remakes of Resident Evil, and to the gamecube versions of Resident Evil 2 & 3.
True, they're not as fast as they are in these games, BUT, "super fast" Zombies have made small appearances in these, and other Resident Evil titles. They appear once or twice per game, if they appear at all.
