After troubleshooting, Still can't watch live Tv

Comcast set top box out to XB1 in  using HDMI then XB1 out to Yamaha A/V receiver HDMI out to Vizio TV HDMI in. I am able to get my 5.1 speakers to play fine ( I don't care too much if it is stereo or surround) with games and everything else, I can't, however, get a TV signal. It constantly says "we've lost your TV signal" even though it can change the channel and says it detects a signal. I've added my A/V receiver to the device list and I've also used the beta surround sound in the trouble shooting menu. I still have yet to get any type of picture or sound from the live TV. This is pretty frustrating, as you can imagine. I went through troubleshooting of taking out HDMI cords and waiting 30 seconds, I've done many different things. If someone has an alternative way to get this to work and be able to listen through my surround sound speakers, once again, I don't care if it is surround or stereo, that would be great. I'm not that tech savy, so anything to is too complicated i would need a bit more of a walk through.
