About buying full games.

So, I don't actually own an Xbox 360 just yet, But i do have a slight question. I seen Gears of War 2 was on the marketplace for $19.99 (or 1600 Microsoft Point). But it didn't list a way to purchase with MS Points. Is it possible to buy full games with Microsoft points you can buy at a shop, or does it have to be a debit card purchase?

Also, Does Microsoft allow you to remove your billing details from your account once you're finished? After the whole PSN fiasco, I'm a bit worried about leaving sensitive information online. Can you enter your debit details, buy when you need to buy and then remove it and re enter it for later use? What if you want to buy a LIVE subscription? Can you remove the debit card while it's still on the account so you wont get charged again?

When you are at the part where is confirmed download. Press X and it will change payment to MICROSOFT points. Or you can add paypal as payment opion.

Not all games are available to be purchased this way. Just the games listed in the Games on Demand section. I believe the website just has a separate tab available to use points to purchase games.

If you use your credit card to purchase points, you can remove your card. But if you use it to purchase a gold membership, you can't remove the card until the subscription is over.

One word of advice, never attach a credit card to your Gamertag. Always pay with subscription and Microsoft Point cards that you can buy pretty much anywhere that sells games. You'll save yourself A LOT of hassle and frustration that way, trust  me.

I would suggest trying to buy those games through a retail store.

Generally they are less expensive because the store needs to move them out of inventory.

Note that retail Xbox 360 games are cheaper than retail Games on Demand Xbox 360 games, I never knew why though...

Stores get taxed on inventory that is just sitting there, they have to sell it cheap to move it or get taxed on it again.

Not to mention cash flow - All their cash are on the inventory.

It's easier to just get gears 1 and 2 in a bundle on disc, it works out cheaper than just gears 2 alone on games on demand ..
Aint that the truth......Unless you want to donate cash to MS which most cases, the game on demand are upwards to $20+  than in the store.
And you can get all the DLC bundled with it. It would be a good investment.
