'x' characters in gamertags

If there are 'x' characters in a gamertag (e.g. xXtrooperXx), does that usually mean the owner of the gamertag is a hacker/modder/similar category? Many people have reported people with these sort of nicknames to show hacking behavior. I have experienced it myself. For example: in GTA IV, everyone was ready up and the game would not count down at all. Not even after half an hour. In FIFA10, someone scored an own goal and nothing happened. The game froze for everyone. The characters kept moving, but nothing else happened.

Technically no they aren't hackers. Besides, any GT  name can be under the hacker category.  Then again, those 'xX' in the beginning of their Gamer Tags is just ridiculous.

No, this is merely a coincidental.  It's probably just another way of getting a similar tag to someone else.  For example since you have the tag 'Uid1Tester', no one else can have it it, but they could of course have 'XxUid1TesterxX'
