2 month/2 dollar

Everytime i try to purchase the 2 month for 2 dollar deal on my xbox i get the same message saying, "sorry there's an issue with your account to fix the problem vist account.live.com or use a different payment method." i have tried several diffent credit cards and visited the website,but the message still keeps popping up. Please help.

Hey your not the only one. I too, have received the same erorr message today. I tried calling XBOX SUPPORT LIVE, and the representative named Nathan couldn't help solve this problem. He actually hanged-up on me during the 2nd attempt to finding a solution; I heard the phone make a click, click sound and then dial tone set in. I don't know what sort of XBOX SUPPORT LIVE specialist are working there-- not even the Escalation Team were able to solve my marketplace purchase dilemma 2 weeks ago. They sent my account @840 microsoft points & an e-mail, saying the problem was corrected when it wasn't, because I tried buying microsoft points & the problem was not corrected, but only still existed. I sent an e-mail addressing how unprofessional their were with my case. I suggest that you shouldn't give up, but to make noise; like call everyday to XBOX SUPPORT LIVE, create more posts here & on other sites & tell friends about your dilemma.

That, I would recommend checking out billing.microsoft.com and seeing if you have any past due balances on your account.  Log in there and look through current and past billing periods to see if any charges were ever declined.  If so, you would need to pay those off.  If you're not seeing anything odd there, I would give phone support a call to see if there are any account issues that need to be resolved.

I was able to upgrade to the 2 months for 2 dollars by recovering my gamertag on a friend's xbox and purchasing it there. I think the only way to resolve this issue is to purchase from another xbox. Hope this helps everyone else with the problem

Make a new Hotmail then connect that to your live account then try again worked for me.

Greetings, The Jewblob. Are you having the same issue and seeing the same error code as KIDD? If you log on to https://billing.microsoft.com do you see any alerts about your account? I would also recommend taking a look at this sticky to make sure all of your billing criteria is correctly configured: forums.xbox.com/.../153161.aspx. Keep us posted!
