$1 Gold membership

Hi, I'm trying to sign up for the $1 for 1 month special of the gold membership from my Xbox console. Everytime I try to sign up, I get a error: "Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later. Status code: 80190864". When I try to sign up from my laptop, it says it's $9.99. Please advise, thank you, Rich

I'm also having the same problem however I got the 8007000b error, I have received the confirmation email that I purchased it but I cannot get the account onto gold.

First of all, different error codes mean you have different issues, even if they are related. That said, for the ...64 error, call up phone support, as it might be a billing issue. For 8007000b, it is most likely just a server issue. Try again in about 24 hours and see if it works.

what is weird is that my gf and my roommate were able to start the $1 dollar membership without the code popping up and when i tried it gave me the code....what is up with that?

Trying to get the same thing (membership that is) and having a problem also. All of my information is up to date and accurate (have checked this multiple times) and yet still doesnt work. All it says is "Sorry, there's an issue with your account. To fix problem visit..." and it refers me to the accounts site or a different payment method. The account site doesn't have anything related to this, and I only have this one card. Sorry for asking this on an existing question, but could anyone help me fix mine too?

Have you looked at account.live.com? Usually it directs you there because it needs you to verify your email address or add security information.
