After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" and click on "More info", what is the exact message shown on screen?

"test failed
Your console is connected to the internet but can't contact xbox live. YOur router or ISP may be blocking accss to Xbox live. On your PC go to your router configuration webpage and make sure port 3074 is open on your firewall. If it is open, it may be blocked oiutside your home network. Contact your ISP"

Question is, how do i open port 3074? I've been to my modem's router page's firewall setting via its gateway summary but am unable to do anything due to its complexity(at least for me).

To add a new application to go through firewall, they have these blanks i need to fill:

protocol: TCP or UDP
 Protocol timeout:
 Map to Host port:
Application type: (which are FTP, Microsoft games,  H.323 based internet telephony, IRC server, PPTP virtual private network server)

i'm quite lost here.. Any suggestions what i can do?
