When your console stops reading discs it means the disc drive is failing or has failed. You should contact support for your region and set up a repair. If the console is still under warranty you are all set, however if it is out of warranty then
you will have to pay ($100+USD) for the repair.
If you live in the US/Canada the number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX. Anywhere else click on SUPPORT at the top of this page, then click on CONTACT US on the bottom of that page then click on BY PHONE. As long as you have the correct region selected for this
website your support number will be listed there.
