Xbox won't connect to Sky modem

I have tried everything xbox & sky suggest! 

When I test the connection it won't get any further then the Sky bit. I have used Sky before, but I have moved house and have a different Sky modem and I have had no problems before.

Does anyone else have this problem? Or has anyone found a solution?

Where does it fail during the connection test?  Does it connect to Network but not LIVE?

Have you reset your Xbox 360 network settings to default?  This may help, since you have a different modem now.

It fails where it connects to the modem and I have done everything even enter it in all manually.

I decided to ring Sky and tried to switch channels and reset everything, nothing worked, so I rung up Microsoft, they have asked me to try a wired connection and to try and connect to a different wireless network to see if there is something wrong with the built in wireless or if it's the actual sky box.  Thanks for your suggestions though :)

Could you see about getting a new modem from Sky? Perhaps it is just that particular one.

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help Sky do a few different routers

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter
