XBox won't boot following update

Just got home, turned on XBox- required update notification, so I install it- like I always do.   XBox reboots and now, nothing. NOTHING.  I left it there for 12 minutes, and that's after I started timing it once I realized something was wrong.  It's just sitting there, powered on, but not doing anything- no splash screen, no MS logo- in fact, my TV doesn't even recognize there is a signal coming from the XBox.

Forced updates that break it. That's awesome. There goes my plans for the morning off.

Am I allowed to take the hard drive out? And exactly how does one go about opening the XBox in order to do that?  There is a sticker on the back of my xbox which makes it appear that, should I damage that sticker, i may void any assistance MS might give me.

You don't open the Console.  There is a Slide Button on the Side of the Xbox 360 Slim that you can take off  where you can take it out.  Which is safe to do so.

Make sure the Console is Off when you take it out.  Steps here on how to Remove Hard Drive - support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive - found the support article Okay, I thought I was going to break it! haha I had to pull pretty darn hard.  That said, the hard drive it out now, I've plugged back in the xbox and no difference. the center light comes on, green- and nothing else happens.

well to be honest- while we'd all like to believe a gentle pull was needed, I tried that- alot.  I had to PULL the thing to get it out.    Is there any way I can get into this thing, rollback the update and then go from there?  I despise the fact I can't even get into the build to rollback what just failed to rollout.

Try this Hold the sync button down on your Xbox 360 console. It's the little Black Button button that you typically press to link the system to wireless controllers. Keep holding it down, and press the power button to boot the console. Do not let go of the sync button at any time. The console should completely boot up, and in the process, it will delete the new, failed system update, allowing you to boot your console and try to re-download the system update that you need.  See if this Helps.
