Xbox turns off after around 10 seconds - Moved to a different country

I just moved to a different country, and I got a power converter for my xbox so it doesnt blow. I plug it in and turn it on, then around 10 seconds later the power box light turns red for a split second, and the xbox turns off. The converter is does 240V AC 60 Hz to 120V 80 WATTS. I moved from the US to Qatar, if that matters.

The safest way would be to buy a power supply from your new region. Phone Xbox Support and you will be able to buy one from them.

You'll need to acquire a 220V power supply from either eBay for an OEM XBOX 360 S or you can try contacting XBOX Support for a country that's closest to your country which would most likely be United Arab Emirates - UAE.
