Xbox support cant help?

im trying to add a payment option to my account, and the website is giving me an error saying i found a glitch, but they are still charging my card even though it didnt go through all the way.

 

i called xbox support and got told he can not help me, and to check my account details, i let him know i have already done this 2 times and it is all correct, he still proceeds to tell me he can not help me.

 

i also had 1 1/2 months left on my 3 month prepaid card but am not allowed to sign into live on my console.. help

The charge is only charged to make sure your credit card is kosher. Whether it is or isn't you should get the money back within a few day.

its not the fact it charged it already (only $2) its the fact i still cant get on xbox live.

Support is correct.  They cannot help you with a billing issue.  What they should also have added was that the billing dept. can.  Call support back and ask to speak with Billing.

As a precaution, if you submitted payment with a credit card there will be a forced automatic renewal option. Although some sources say you can remove this online - that feature is broken and the only current way to remove this is by calling their support at: Toll free: (800) 4MY-XBOX or (800) 469-9269

If you opt not to cancel the auto-renew, by the time you see the charge on your bank account it may be too late to request a refund. (For myself it wasn't charged until 30 days after the 'billing date')

If you do opt to call them to cancel the auto-renew be sure to have the information listed from this page handy: support.xbox.com/.../call-us.aspx
